From Edits to Eternity

For the last few weeks, I have been diligently writing and rewriting parts of the book according to editorial critique. It has been both a painful and challenging time to repetitively relive and reassess the last three years.

It is good to have the opportunity to tell a story that needs to be told even from the subjective viewpoint of a sibling. In it bringing up shooting pains and losses from the past, it also brings up grateful memories of the people who have stood with us and the many lessons learned.

The book editing continues along with living through more painful life scenarios. However in both journeys an ending point is in sight. In the case of the book, it being published this summer; and in Elaine’s suffering, the long awaited day of our coming into the awesome presence of Christ, Himself.

About Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering

Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering shares the true story about a sudden family tragedy. As author of the book to be published in the summer of 2014, the true account tells of my sister being rear ended by a drunk driver. She barely survives the high speed crash being left to live as a quadriplegic. Written from a brother's perspective, the manuscript shares the heartfelt story of ongoing physical and emotional pain experienced by both victim and family. Only through God's grace can a family survive such a tragedy!
