The Body of Christ Expresses God’s Love to Us

In our facing a new crisis this week in Elaine’s declining health, I sent out multiple petitions for prayer today. Many people responded with heartfelt concern and support. I so needed the Body of Christ to turn to on our behalf.

I cannot imagine life without godly access and Christian brethren during such difficult times. God has sent His children to be earthly representatives of His love for us. As people respond with encouraging words, I see God’s genuine love for me and my family. I received one email from a praying saint where God put Elaine and our family on her heart early this morning before ever receiving the prayer need.

As tears of sadness are mingled with tears of joy, God sustains and encourages us through both physical and emotional pain.  God is faithful as He sends His children to comfort us in our grief.

About Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering

Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering shares the true story about a sudden family tragedy. As author of the book to be published in the summer of 2014, the true account tells of my sister being rear ended by a drunk driver. She barely survives the high speed crash being left to live as a quadriplegic. Written from a brother's perspective, the manuscript shares the heartfelt story of ongoing physical and emotional pain experienced by both victim and family. Only through God's grace can a family survive such a tragedy!

  1. After nearly a week of fever, Elaine experienced God’s grace in finally being free of the fever. We praise Him for His help in time of need!
