Freedom of Movement

For the last several weeks my wife and I have been voluntarily downsizing our home possessions in making a local move. In our acts of simply giving and throwing things away, she and I feel such freedom.

Recently in sharing about our move with Elaine, she stated how she wished she could help us with our move.

When the days are long and boxes heavy, I thank God that I am physically able to move about. Thoughts of my freedom of movement minimize my occasional stiff back and achy joints.

What a blessing to make this move, and how I wish Elaine could physically lift a box alongside us.

Never take an ache or pain motivated by exercise for granted as they remind us of our God-given gift of movement.

About Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering

Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering shares the true story about a sudden family tragedy. As author of the book to be published in the summer of 2014, the true account tells of my sister being rear ended by a drunk driver. She barely survives the high speed crash being left to live as a quadriplegic. Written from a brother's perspective, the manuscript shares the heartfelt story of ongoing physical and emotional pain experienced by both victim and family. Only through God's grace can a family survive such a tragedy!
