The Body of Christ

Today I confronted a local and national agency that deals with victims of drunk drivers.  I had contacted them over the past several months for information on support groups and possibly volunteering with them.  Except for mailing me some information and an occasional email, I received no support.  I got an email of apology from the local representative admitting they dropped the ball, and I accepted their apology.

In all of that, it made me very thankful to have a church family along with Christian friends to help bear under the load.  When the true body of Christ is in operation, loving care and compassion reign.  No support agency can do what God can through His faithful remnant.  Hallelujah!

About Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering

Our Dark Night of the Soul: Finding Solace Through Suffering shares the true story about a sudden family tragedy. As author of the book to be published in the summer of 2014, the true account tells of my sister being rear ended by a drunk driver. She barely survives the high speed crash being left to live as a quadriplegic. Written from a brother's perspective, the manuscript shares the heartfelt story of ongoing physical and emotional pain experienced by both victim and family. Only through God's grace can a family survive such a tragedy!
